The U.S. was pressing Egypt for an immediate start to democratic transition, including a proposal for Mubarak to step down immediately.




Omaha Mayor Fights Approval Of Cutback Bills


Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle is fighting the final approval of a handful of revenue busting bills, which he said could cost the city $22.1 million.

Suttle is set to visit state senators in Lincoln on Friday to fight the final approval of a series of cutback bills, saying he'd likely have to raise property taxes if the measures pass.
